Our Story

Our Story

Dillion and I (Loan) had the idea of opening a hair salon/barbershop before the 2019 Pandemic because we both had an enthusiasm for haircutting and styling. Unfortunately, we were faced with the challenge of our business being unable to open, but we persevered through the uncertainty. Now that the situation of Covid-19 has improved, our business is prospering, and the future seems promising.

We are grateful to everyone who has helped support us along the way as the owners of D&L Salon. We appreciate the chance to serve.

Our Team

Dillion

Main Barber / Co-Owner

My name is Dillion, and I'm the barbershop's co-founder and main barber. Dillion is a Vietnamese immigrant who brought a rare ability with him to America: he learned to be a barber from his father, who was also a barber. He worked for his father's barbershop in Vietnam for seven years, the Salon in China Town for seven years, and Waipahu for ten years until opening his own barbershop in Ewa Beach two years ago. His barbering skills are precise, smart, and exceptional, with over 30 years of experience in both men's and women's hairstyles.

Loan

Co-Owner / Barber

My name is Loan, and I am the co-owner of D&L Salon and Barber. I am from Vietnam who came to the United States with ten of my siblings. My mother worked hard and nurtured our family. I look up to my mother and aspire to be the greatest version of myself at all times. I think that everything is achievable if you put your mind to it.

Thank You For Supporting us.
